![]() I have had for a bit over five years a 16 gauge Citori Superlight, with 28” barrels. Is the difference between the mechanical triggers vs inertia more of a "feel" thing or is related to reliability? But with shotguns for hunting, I have never been bothered by it. I realize that I am usually in the minority on this since most people don't like recoil. I would rather deal with recoil any day than with toting a heavy gun. A shotgun cannot be too light in my opinion. I will most likely being selling a couple of guns to cover the purchase which is also something I need some time to work out. The only thing in my favor I guess is that I have some time still before the season opens in October. Just from briefly looking online, I think I will probably have problems finding either model as stated above. I currently hunt with a stack barrel Franchi 20ga so I would like to go with something other than that gauge for my next purchase. If I can't find a 16 then it would be a 12. I hunt Pheasants and grouse so I figure it would be able to handle both with ease. The 16ga interests me for couple of reasons, one of them being that I've just never owned one. ![]()
